Our Veterinarians

Dr. John Andrews
Dr. John Andrews, DVM

Dr. John Andrews earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2005 from Colorado State University, one of the country’s leading veterinary medical programs. After graduation, he completed a highly competitive medical internship at VCA West Los Angeles in 2006 before returning to Colorado to continue practicing high-quality veterinary medicine.

Dr. Andrews is committed to practicing excellent veterinary medicine while serving the small communities that surround Mead Veterinary Medical Center. His experience in both medical and surgical care helps support the broad range of services our clinic provides for dogs and cats. He lives locally in the Berthoud community on his ranch and enjoys showing his horses in the reined-cowhorse association whenever he has free time.

Dr. Jenette Joseph
Dr. Jenette Joseph, DVM

Dr. Jenette Joseph moved to Colorado in 2004 to work as a wrangler and attend Colorado State University. At CSU, she studied equine science, cancer biology, and veterinary medicine. After graduating in 2016, she spent her first year continuing in cancer research while also volunteering as a veterinarian at the Denver Dumb Friends League. She began working as a local small animal veterinarian in 2017 and joined Mead Veterinary Medical Center in July 2023.

Dr. Joseph brings a thoughtful, well-rounded perspective to patient care and values both science and service in her work. Outside the clinic, she spends time raising her four children, volunteering in the community, horseback riding, walking her dogs, and snuggling with her cats.

Dr. Anneliese Bruening
Dr. Anneliese Bruening, DVM

Dr. Anneliese Bruening earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University and her bachelor’s degree in Zoology from Washington State University. She has wanted to be a veterinarian from a very young age and has dedicated herself to making that goal a reality.

Dr. Bruening is passionate about preventive care, client education, and building strong relationships with both pets and their families. She believes personalized care is essential to helping pets live healthier, happier lives. Originally from Boulder, Colorado, she loves the mountains and enjoys reading, gardening, and spending time with her Bernese Mountain Dog, Wally, and her cat, Molly.

Vikki French
Vikki French

Vikki is a Colorado native who grew up in Westminster and now lives in Firestone. She graduated from Bel-Rea in 2005 with an Associate of Applied Science and has spent the last 20 years working with animals of many kinds, from pocket pets and exotics to dogs and cats.

She loves all aspects of veterinary medicine, including soft tissue surgery, dental prophylaxis, client interaction, and client education. Vikki brings extensive hands-on experience and a true passion for helping both pets and pet owners feel cared for and supported. Outside of work, she enjoys time with her husband, children, and grandchildren, running with her cattle dog Zoe, playing with her Frenchie, spending time with her nearly 30-year-old yellow-fronted Amazon parrot Puck, and reading a good book.

Brookelyn Spencer
Brookelyn Spencer

Brookelyn made her dream of working with animals a reality in 2025 when she joined Mead Veterinary Medical Center. Before joining the clinic, she spent two years at Future Forward Washington Square, where she gained valuable experience and completed an internship that helped prepare her for veterinary work.

Brookelyn brings enthusiasm, compassion, and a genuine love of animals to her role on the team. When she is not at the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her dogs Asher, Journey, and Koda, whether that means relaxing with a good book or having fun together outdoors.

Victoria “Tori” Gillis
Victoria “Tori” Gillis

Tori is from Upstate South Carolina and graduated in the spring of 2024 from Erskine College with a bachelor’s degree in Biology. She plans to attend veterinary school and has always had a deep love for animals.

At Mead Veterinary Medical Center, Tori is excited to be part of a team that cares deeply for pets and their families. Outside of work, she enjoys riding horses and spending time with friends and her own fur babies.

Jennifer Young

Jennifer “Jen” Young is a Colorado native and lives in Loveland, where she was born and raised.  She has worked in the veterinary field for over 20 years and has held many positions, but is back to her favorite, the front desk, where she can be a servant to the clients and pets.  In her spare time, she enjoys reading and is a movie buff.  She also loves music and may sing while clients are in the room. She may quote movies a lot while waiting for the computer to catch up with her fingers.  Right now, she has her father, Jim, who lives with her and her cat Carl, who harasses her father.

Raquel Glakler
Raquel Glakeler

Raquel, “Rocky,” is a Colorado native, from Berthoud. In her spare time, she loves to thrift and go antiquing! With an empathetic heart and kindness, she’s here to help in any way she can.

She’s recently joined the team, and is so excited to help care for you and your furry kiddos!

Coryn Cortzer
Coryn Crotzer

Coryn is a Colorado native and has lived in the Longmont area for roughly twenty years. She grew up in a zoo of animals and has always had an innate passion and fondness for animals. She walked into Mead Veterinary Medical Center in August 2021, eager for an opportunity to be a part of our team. She loves every minute of it and is looking forward to meeting and extending her love to your animals. When she is not here, she spends most of her time trying to keep up with her dog, Kona, and two cats, Winny and Weasley.
