Dr. John Andrews, DVM
Dr. John Andrews earned his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) in 2005 from one of the top Veterinary Medical Programs in the country – the esteemed Colorado State University. After graduating, he was accepted into a highly competitive medical internship at VCA West Los Angeles which he completed in 2006. Dr. Andrews then returned to Colorado where he has been practicing high quality veterinary medicine ever since. His dream has always been to design his own, personal hospital with modern and cutting edge architecture, highly efficient veterinary medical techniques, the most cutting edge equipment possible, and a truly “green” approach. Dr. Andrews strives to take veterinary medical centers into the future while still practicing the highest quality of medicine within the community. Mead Veterinary Medical Center IS that hospital, his dream and his passion. He currently lives within the community of Mead and has for the past 8 years. Dr. Andrews is excited to own the first fulltime veterinary medical center to serve the local communities and it will remain locally owned and operated. Personally, Dr. Andrews currently has 3 dogs (2 great Danes and a Molish mix) that he loves dearly – their names are Queen Elizabeth, Princess Madeline, Duquesa Sophia. In his rare spare time, he enjoys camping and hiking the many 14er’s in Colorado.
Dr. Pam Harmeyer
Dr. Pam Harmeyer is originally from Douglas, Wyoming. She grew up on a farm and had many animals, ranging from cattle and horses to cats, dogs, and rabbits, which contributed a great deal to her desire to become a veterinarian. After graduating from high school, she attended Colorado State University in Fort Collins, where she graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Equine Sciences in 2009 and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2013. Following her graduation from veterinary school she moved back to Wyoming, working at a mixed animal practice in Glenrock and then transitioning to a small animal practice in Casper. After being away for nearly four years, she couldn’t resist the opportunity to move back to northern Colorado and is very excited to join the team at MVMC!
Pam and her fiancé, Corey, have four furry family members: Ernie, a long-haired chihuahua; Sage, an Australian cattle dog; and two cats, Twiggy and Huckleberry. In her spare time, Pam enjoys being outdoors, traveling, reading, and spending time with her family and pets.
Bobbie Jo Meyers
Lead Veterinary Technician
Bobbie Jo Meyers is a true Colorado native. She graduated from Bel-Rea in 2006 with an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Veterinary Technology. Soon after, she started her career with Dr. Andrews and has been following him ever since, from Northern Colorado to Denver and finally settling in the Mead area. She loves working in a family environment, where she can make a huge impact in pet care. She has a wide variety of experience, from assisting Dr. Andrews in surgery, to cleaning teeth during dentals, she is a true “Rock Star Tech”! During her free time she is on the go, with Matt, her husband and her son. They enjoy the great outdoors by hiking, fishing and camping. Her home is a fun filled one, with a rambunctious Doberman, “Libby”, and one spoiled cat, “Allie”.
Gretchen Anderson, was born and raised in Duluth, Minnesota. She moved to Plantation, Florida where she started as a receptionist at Sunset Animal Hospital. She worked her way up to a veterinary assistant position, before she moved to Colorado in 2009. She was blessed to land a job as a veterinary assistant in Federal Heights, Colorado, but then the opportunity to move to Fort Collins came up, and she couldn’t resist this area. In early 2015 she had major hip surgery and had to take a year off from the veterinary profession, 9 months later she’s back on her feet and very happy to be working at Mead Veterinary Medical Center. In her spare time she enjoys snowboarding, concerts, and hiking the trails with her “kids” a golden/chow mix named Kane and a happy go lucky rescue puppy, named Finn. She truly enjoys life in all aspects.
Deanna Olson is our youngest team member . She comes to us from Goodfield, Illinois. She moved here in 2012 to attend Colorado State University, She was accepted into the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences Program at Colorado State University in 2015 and will graduate as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in the year 2019. We are lucky to have her with us, between class time and weekends. As a “Jack of all trades” you can find her answering phones to assisting in the back. Keep your eyes on this one, she will go far in this great life!
Laura Kerwin comes to us from Augusta, Georgia. After many visits to colorful Colorado, she finally decided that Colorado was where she wanted to live, so she moved here with her best friend Bixby, a Boston Terrier. She has a true passion for all animals and loves what she does every day. She is so excited to join the wonderful team at MVMC as a technician. On her free time, she enjoys going to concerts and hiking the great outdoors. When she isn’t busy taking care of the goats and pigs on her farm of course.
Customer Service Coordinator
Tammy Edmondson joined Mead Veterinary Medical Center in September of 2016 with great excitement of working with an awesome team and the opportunity to get to know clients and share the love of their “furry kids”. In previous years I worked for a veterinarian in my hometown of Baxter Springs, KS and loved it. I’m so happy to have the opportunity to once again work in such a rewarding job. My husband David and I enjoy hiking above tree line, camping, canoeing, blues concerts, and hanging out with family and friends. I have a senior black Labrador named Remington who in his earlier years was an avid duck hunting dog and worked on occasion for an upland game farm making remarkable blind retrieves. My husband and I have three fabulous adult children who also call Colorado their home. We truly love this great state and enjoy all of its beauty.
Dr. Andrews and his staff were amazing! I called and was able to get an appointment for my giant kid in two hours and he made my anxious (rescued) dog relaxed and now on the road to recovery. The perfect balance of professionalism, friendliness, and complete care!Gina Rodman-YartzFacebook

Their vet care and people skills are second to none and I have come to consider them not only at the top of their field but also friends. My dogs are now 12 and 13; I know they have the best care possible and when the time comes, sooner than we all want, I know we have the best team to take care of my dogs AND me.Christine ODellFacebook

I've taken all my pets to Doc John Andrews through every vet clinic he's been at in Colorado. So glad he's got his very own clinic now. I pass hundreds of vets on my hour drive to go to Mead - because Doc A really is THAT good. I wouldn't trust anyone else to my 4 and 3 legged fur kids.Sarah RutledgeGoogle
John is literally the only vet I trust my dogs to. He provided the ultimate vet care to my last dog, Brutus, and is providing unparalleled care to my current dog, Sammy. I have been to a lot of vets but haven't met someone who cares about your pets as much as John does. He is also very affordable!Greg McGeeGoogle
The staff here was amazing! They went above and beyond to explain things in terms that I would understand. They really let me participate in the decision making for a treatment plan for my old doggie. I'd highly recommend this place!!!!Kelley H.Yelp
